Beet Apple Ginger Smoothie
I love this smoothie when you need both a thirst quenching beverage and need a good pick me up on a busy day!
This smoothie works well for those who are on a RAW mealplan and also for those trying to detox after a weekend of poor meal choices.
- 1 medium sized beet
- 1 granny smith apple
- 1 small piece of ginger
- optional: handful of spinach
- optional: mango for a fruity touch
Mix all ingredients into a high speed blender. You may find that the contents of the blender may start to divide with the pulp rising to the top. If you desire more of a juice type consistency, then use a sieve to strain the contents while transferring into your bottle.
Tip: I like to make this smoothie the night before so I have a healthy drink waiting for me in the morning!
