Recipe Wednesday: Oatmeal Twist – Paleo, vegan, vegetarian friendly!
This is a great alternative to traditional oatmeal and gives you variety to your breakfast recipes.
- 1-1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 4 Tablespoons almond butter
- 2-3 Tablespoons unsweetened coconut milk
- Cinnamon to taste
- 1-2 tablespoons dried nuts/fruits
- Combine ingredients #1-4 in a small pan over medium heat, stirring often until warm and well mixed.
- Add fresh or dried fruits and/or nuts for additional texture and flavor.
