Recipe Wednesday: Oatmeal Twist – Paleo, vegan, vegetarian friendly!

This is a great alternative to traditional oatmeal and gives you variety to your breakfast recipes.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1-1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
  2. 4 Tablespoons almond butter
  3. 2-3 Tablespoons unsweetened coconut milk
  4. Cinnamon to taste
  5. 1-2 tablespoons dried nuts/fruits

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine ingredients #1-4 in a small pan over medium heat, stirring often until warm and well mixed.
  2. Add fresh or dried fruits and/or nuts for additional texture and flavor.
