Smoothie Tuesday: Berry Apple Spinach Smoothie

This is a great smoothie to keep you energized and full if you need a boost in your busy day. I like to have this smoothie as a snack before lunch!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1-2 handfuls of spinach
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 green granny smith apple chopped

Directions:

Start with combining yogurt, spinach and lemon into high speed blender and pulse on high for 15-30sec or until blended partially. Then remove the lid plug and add in chopped apple, close lid and resume blending on high until smooth. Add chia seeds and berries and blend until desired consistency is reached. Enjoy!
